Still minimum of 1250 watt of light. Efficiency of LEDs means electricity to the lights is at least in the order of 2500 watt. Which means it gets pretty warm over time. Given the sun radiates 1000 watt per square meter (peak) you would think you would not need a lot of area.

In more than 99% of earth, you can't breathe. Sure, you can breathe almost everywhere on the surface of the earth as long as you are above any and all liquids as well as any and all solids, but that's just boring. ;p

Maybe you should use One-Way valves on a mouthpiece, so the air you exhale go to the algae and the air you inhale comes from the ambient. That way you just breathe normally, and the valves do the routing.

I like where your head was at, but this test is incredibly flawed from the lighting, to the plant choice, to the max CO2 levels and more. I can assure you 1 of my outdoor monstera that has several leaves over 5 ft in diameter is producing more O2 in an hour than those Sansevieria produced in total throughout your entire experiment.

I have one of those buck boost converters and to get correct voltage out you need to ajust it. When i got mine it was about 4.5v off the number that was shown on screen

Snake plants are desert plants, and like many desert plants, they use a different form of photosynthesis called CAM photosynthesis. Essentially, they breathe at night and get their carbon at night so they can hold in more water during the hot days. Best plants (besides algae or microgreens) would probably be from a place that’s wet most of the time so they use traditional photosynthesis. Also a lot more light will allow them to process CO2 much faster.
